Original

In Amazonia generations have been raised on Acai mixed farinha (roasted manioc flour) and a large spoon of sugar. Our take swaps the farinha for oats and the sugar with sweet bananas. Blend the acai with the bananas, add oats and serve. Will keep you feeling full for hours.

  • 2 sachets of Acai
  • 1-2 bananas
  • A handful of oats

Traditional

If you order Acai from  a ‘hole in the wall acai bar’ found on street corners all over Brazil it will come in a  plastic cup, sweet as you like with cut banana and a crunchy granola sprinkled on top. Our take uses less or no sugar but will keep you running around until dinner time. Blend the acai with one banana and a teaspoon of sugar, serve in a cup or bowl with sliced banana and granola on top.

  • 2 sachets of Acai
  • 1 banana blended
  • ½ banana Sliced
  • Tablespoon of granola
  • Teaspoon of sugar if required
